APSAFE 2025, under the theme of Food and Agricultural Ethics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, will address the “wicked problems” facing food systems—complex challenges shaped by urbanization, climate crises, and socio-political tensions. By exploring the intricate relationships between food systems and areas such as economics, culture, health, and nature, we aim to foster a deeper understanding and promote sustainable, equitable solutions. We invite professionals from diverse fields to join us in discussing the future of food and agriculture, with a special focus on ethics in the Asia-Pacific context, while considering the impact of emerging technologies like AI.
